The vision is bold and intricately layered—true to form for lifestyle-driven ventures where luxury is the common thread. Nestled within Lisbon’s historic Tivoli cinema on Avenida da Liberdade, the newly opened Jncquoi unfolds over three levels, bringing together a restaurant, a delicatessen and bar, and a curated men’s fashion boutique.

Additional elements elevate the experience further: a Ladurée pâtisserie, an Assouline corner offering curated art and design books, and a wine-tasting room, creating a destination that blends food, fashion, and culture under one opulent roof.

The interiors are the work of Lázaro Rosa-Violán, the Barcelona-based architect known for his richly layered designs in hospitality and retail. His hallmark touch is evident in the seamless blending of heritage and theatricality, purpose-built for a modern luxury lifestyle setting.

On the first floor sits the 90-seat Jncquoi Restaurant, its grand ceilings and historic frescoes providing a sense of timeless elegance. With panoramic views of the avenue and a wine list boasting over 500 selections—one of Portugal’s most extensive—the space channels a cosmopolitan yet unmistakably old-world charm.

The second level features the 42-seat Jncquoi Delibar, a more casual dining space anchored by a boutique grocery filled with fine cheeses, charcuterie, and gourmet goods. Here, the wine-tasting room, Assouline library, and Ladurée bakery are clustered, creating a floor that feels both social and indulgent.

On the top level, the Fashion Clinic Men’s boutique makes its return—relocated from nearby—housing a highly curated selection of global luxury labels in a setting that matches the conceptual ambition of the floors below.

Fashion names include a roster of the elite: Balenciaga, Balmain, Christian Louboutin, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, and Valentino, among others. It’s a striking lineup housed in a singular space.

The unifying force behind Jncquoi is Paula Amorim, daughter of the late industrial magnate Américo Amorim, once Portugal’s richest man. With a portfolio that spans energy, real estate, and luxury, the Amorim Group is the country’s largest private conglomerate.

Now at the helm of much of the group, Paula Amorim has long nurtured a passion for luxury fashion. Under her leadership, the company invested early in the Tom Ford brand—holding a 25% stake in Tom Ford International—and her influence is now evident in the carefully orchestrated elegance of Jncquoi.
