Born in Lyon and celebrated for his two-Michelin-star cuisine, chef Claude Bosi has debuted his latest venture, Socca, on South Audley Street in Mayfair. Housed in a Grade II-listed building, the restaurant is a nod to his Mediterranean roots with a distinctly refined London accent.

Taking its name from the humble chickpea flatbread known across the Mediterranean—socca in Nice, farinata in Italy, cecina in Spain—the restaurant leans into a sense of culinary nostalgia. The menu celebrates the flavours of the French Riviera with ingredients and influences that stretch from Provence to Liguria.

The vision for Socca was brought to life through the collaboration of Samyukta Nair of LSL Capital and designer Tom Strother, co-founder of Fabled Studio, based in Spitalfields. Together, they’ve crafted a concept that merges Mediterranean charm with layered, residential warmth.

This marks the sixth collaboration between Fabled Studio and LSL Capital, following their acclaimed work on Koyn, MiMi Mei Fair, Bombay Bustle, and both the London and Doha outposts of Jamavar. Each project brings with it a unique identity, while sharing an attention to detail and narrative that has become their hallmark.

Inside Socca, the mood is intimate, artistic, and unapologetically French. Pastel tones dominate—a baby blue recurring across banquettes, exterior awnings, and wall treatments. The space is dotted with curated works by London-based artists, lending an authentic and lived-in elegance that blurs the line between restaurant and salon.

LSL Capital, led by father-daughter duo Dinesh and Samyukta Nair, continues to define modern luxury dining with a deeply personal edge. Their lineage traces back to the founding family behind The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, a heritage that informs both vision and execution.

Fabled Studio’s design footprint extends well beyond LSL collaborations, with clients including Four Seasons Prague, Hilton Conrad Dublin, Harrods, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, and Marriott—projects that balance narrative design with commercial precision. While Bosi is widely known for his flagship, Claude Bosi at Bibendum in Fulham’s Michelin House, and for the now-closed Hibiscus on Maddox Street, Socca feels like something closer to home. Bibendum’s name, drawn from the Latin phrase “Nunc est bibendum” (“Now is the time to drink”), also encapsulates the spirit here—a place of indulgence, history, and joie de vivre, reimagined for a new Mayfair crowd.
